I was so excited when I received a call before Christmas that a woman wanted to order two Moxie Chick pieces from me for her two nieces. Although I had no time to work on them before the holiday, the lovely woman was very nice and agreed to an after Christmas deadline. I just finished them and she seemed very pleased with the work. It's always a little difficult to create for someone. When you create freely there are no guidelines, restrictions or rules, but when you create for someone else, you're always wondering if they will like your ideas, colors, choices, designs....etc.
This girl actually has a soccer ball added above her knee. My daughter insisted there had to be the soccer ball in the picture. But I added it last minute, so I don't have a photo of it. It looks great with the ball. The black and white ball is striking in the artwork.
This artwork was done for the younger niece. She and her aunti love to make cupcakes called pinkalicious. So her artwork has some glitter on it and her basket has cupcakes in it.
