I had so much fun making this haunted birdhouse. It took forever because the paper that I used for the rooftop has these amazing little bats, cats and spiders that are flocked black. So I had to very carefully paint the Decoupage medium around each little character so as to not coat their fuzzy appeal! The spiderweb took along time too. I did one or two points a night for a while so that each point could dry completely before moving onto the next one.

Christmas Tree Lighthouse
Ok, I know my photo taking skills have slacked a little with these last few photos and the pics are a little blurred. But I'm trying to take them quickly with kids and dogs and neighbor kids running around like a circus. This little "Chirpie" is all decorated for Christmas. A "Chirpie" is a small sized birdhouse that is perfect to hang on your tree or set on a little window ledge. I also made this one for a friend for her birthday. The toughest part is she has to wait until Christmas to hang it up!

Flamingo Gazebo
This is by far, one of my favorite birdhouses. I love the colors and how the roof ripples turned out. That was the hardest part...cutting those triangles so that they'd fit, but then crimping them changed their size, and I'd have to start over. I crocheted the little hanging scalloped trim. I love the pattern. The photo doesn't do it justice!
Serenity Pagoda
I just think of chinese food when I look at this little house. There isn't a close up of this birdhouse because I did some more fine detailing with little pearls after I took this photo and didn't have time to take a new photo. But as you can see, there is beautiful balsa wood trim with gold vellum paper under.

Paper Scrolled Scrapbook Layout
This is the first layout where I used paper scrolling. Similar to paper quilling, I use the term paper scrolling because I'm not using the traditional tear drop, half circle or circle shapes. It's a more loose art where you just simply start laying the paper down and let your imagination take the swirls where they need to go. It's tedious but the finished piece is beautiful. Again, photo is not the best quality.
